There are six famous Flemish tapestries woven in Flanders from the late 1400's referred to as Tapestry Cycle. Tapestry, The Lady and the Unicorn is the theme of the series that make up these outstanding works-of-art. They are considered one of the greatest art works of the Middle Ages in Europe. These exciting artistic works depict the six senses: sight, touch, taste, smell, hearing, and love. Each and every one of the tapestries shows a noble lady with the unicorn and the lion or monkey.
